Celynnen Photography in the Manchester Evening News!
Promoting the bluebell walks and festivals taking place across Cheshire’s gardens in April and May, Celynnen Photography were asked to take pictures at Capesthorne Hall for Fido PR, on behalf of Visit Chester and Cheshire. The moment I was asked, I accepted when I heard it involved Fairies enjoying a good time in Bluebells! and it paid off since one of our pictures was printed in the Manchester Evening News yesterday (page 25). The picture prompted BBC North West to cover the story during their 6:30 news programme!
Very pleased... specially considering how much fun we had taking it!

If you've been reading this blog regularly, you will have probably figured out that I'm a fan of the Wrexham Symphony Orchestra . These passionate musicians bring some of the greatest classics right here in North Wales at a price that is affordable and maes a great evening out in the William Aston Hall.
Next month, they will not only play with passion, but with world-class pianist and North Wales native LLyr Williams.
Having played with the BBC Symphony and Minnesota Orchestras at the BBC Proms, BBC National Orchestra of Wales, Royal Liverpool Philharmonic Orchestra, Royal Scottish National Orchestra and the Hallé, Llyn has awed spectators and critiques from all over thanks to his intensity, passion and musical intelligence.
Come and see him at the William Aston Hall on the 2nd of May 2009

What a weekend!
I almost made a (monumental) mistake and booked us for a wedding fayre this weekend.. forgetting it was my lovely wife's 30th birthday! Lucky I didn't do that because I would have missed out on the best weekend EVER! It all started at the Boathouse Self-Catering in Llanbedrog, the most wonderul and unique self-catering I have ever seen! The tide comes right under the balcony and you wake up to the wonderful sea air!
The weather was perfect with sunshine and temperatures up to 17 degrees! A visit to my favorite beach in North Wales, Whistling Sands, made things even better. A calm secluded beach with the softest sand you will find that makes lovely squeeky noises with each step!
It all finished off at Ty Coch Inn for a lovely fish pie and pint.
But this weekend could not have been has fantastic as it was if it wasn't for the people: my wonderful in-laws who's helped me settle on this little island.
And of course, my wife for which I have so much to thank for.
Thank you all for a great weekend!!
