Our new website is LIVE!!

I am soooo excited! (Noticed the many "o"'s for emphasis!?)

For the first time in two years, we've had a redesign of our website and went for the "controversial" Flash route. So update your software if you need to and check out our new flashy website!

Since I'm here, I'd like to thank the people that have put their trust in us for the past few years and allowed us to be part of those special moments which they held so dear and wished for us to captur. Thank you to the passionate business people that have chosen us to create images for their businesses and thank you to the bands and models and all the great people I've met within this industry!

what a weekend!

Just came back from a great Burlesque event held at Alexander's Jazz Club in Chester by my good friend Dani California in support of Mysmallhelp, a charity whose goal "is to try and bring about changes in the lives of underprivileged children - to give them what is rightfully theirs and what they deserve. We hope that our small dream will come true, and that every child in our country will grow up to be a proud citizen of Nepal, a true Nepali."

The bands were brilliant! I can easily see Tori Bragg and "The Sublimes" featuring at next year's Whatfest!

Besides that, I met today a really nice couple from Leeds that have chosen me to be their wedding photographer!

I'm really pleased and excited because they have some really cool ideas which will definitely add to the day...and their wedding album! They also chose a really nice venue called Meifod Country House in Caernafon. I've never worked there before, but I sure am looking forward to it!
More to come on them soon!
;)

Yesterday, I was also a Millmoor Farm, one of my first and most loyal clients! The day was nice and sunny at the B&B so we made the most of it and took pictures of their older children on their new pony and quad bikes as well as taking a few portraits of their youngest daughter.
Of course, we took a few pictures of their buildings as they recently updated the garden of their self-catering accomodations.

I truly recommend a stay!

Flora the Explorer..

The other day I took some pictures at the Royal Horticural Society's Britain in Bloom National Finals for the lovely folk at Visit Chester and Cheshire. Met a few nice people. The Lord Mayor of Chester was really nice and friendly and his wife had an absolutely gorgeous dress. Chris Collins, a gardener often seen on tv and all over the world was a highlight of the evening with his great personality, smile and enthusiasm. Of course, the winners were at the centre of this event with some really friendly ladies from Scotland coming to mind. But there was another really intereresting and popular guest that night and it was Flora, Cheshire's Year of Gardens Superlambanana!
Being so pretty, you can easily understand why a lot of the evening's guests wanted a picture with her..

Sorry!

I've been really busy this week with all sorts, hence vhy I didn't post recently.

Had a great shoot with Joy, Callum and Harry in Port Sunlight and in the beautiful beach of the wirral country park. Then, I had a few problems with the delivery of my new 8-core Mac Pro. Tomorrow, I'm doing the Britain in Bloom awards final and this weekend, we have one of our most loyal clients, Millmoor Farm in Cheshire for a family and comercial shoot. Sunday, I'm covering a burlesque charity event at Alexander's Jazz Club in Chester. More info and pictures to come soon!!

Come and help out the boys!

Hello!
Not your regular update..
As some of you know, I'm also involved in helping young people, raising their aspirations and getting them involved in all sorts of projects.

Last summer, I took 10 kids from 10 to 14 to Northern Ireland for a week, for a baseball tournament and meeting new friends!

This year, I hope to take them to America and we need your help!
Today, from 12 to 4 (short notice, I know..) we are doing bag packing at ASDA in winsford. So come and enjoy a good deal and support a good cause!

The Good and the not so good news made good again!!

Great news!
Put the 18th of January in your diary!
Celynnen Photography are going to be at the Mollington Banastre Hotel in Chester!
Here is the adress:
Mollington Banatre Hotel & Spa, Parkgate Road
Chester, CH1 6NN

It's from 12:00 to 16:00 and we will have some special offers on-site! Come and see us!!

Not so good news is that unfortunately, we had to cancel our stand at the Holt Lodge wedding fair this month.
So, just in case you intended to some and see us, all wedding bookings done in September (i.e: booking fee paid) will get a FREE ENGAGEMENT SHOOT!

Engagement shoots are really good fun! It's a fantastic occasion for us to get to know each other a bit more as well as well as a time when we can give you a few extra "posing tricks" so that on your big day, your pictures will look even better!

Included is a large, mounted print you can use as a modern "guestbook" on your wedding day!

See you soon!

Getting married in Quebec?

If you need a specialist in weddings in Montreal and Quebec City, Quebec, look no further than Celynnen Photography! I am Montreal native and we started children, corporate and wedding photography over there under a different (less welsh..) name. We have extensive knowledge of the Quebec City, Montreal and south shore and Charlevoix region and contacts in the hospitality and flower industry. So if you need us for a destination wedding over there, we will be more than happy to help you organise your wedding! Being native French-speakers and having good knowledge of Paris, Normandy and Brittany, we can also help you organise a destination wedding in France.

BUT, if you are reading this from Montreal, you might actually want to consider a really good friend of mine: Sara Kurtz from Sara Kurtz Photography

Her website says:
"Sara Kurtz is a Montreal-based photographer with a professional and discreet presence at all of life’s important events. Her reputation for photographic excellence will please even the most discerning clients."

All I'll say is that she is a fantastic photographer with a great personality and that she will definitely add to any family event!

Check her out!
