North Wales Hotels and North Wales Family Days Out!

I'm really happy and feel quite lucky that people from as far as Leicestershire, Canterbury and Hull call upon us for wedding photography and portrait photography in North Wales. Whatever the reason for coming, perhaps you have links to the area or simply desired a ceremony in a different setting, here are a few tips to make your stay or day trip hopefully more enjoyable..

http://www.northwales.co.uk/ is a good place to look at as you will find many ideas for hotels, family days out and restaurants in North Wales.

Personally, I love going to the nearby village of Llangollen, where the river Dee flows most beautifully by the town and as the Royal Hotel welcomes you on the other side of the bridge. It's a place as suited for the lover of extreme sports such as kayaking as it is for the romantics looking for a riverside stroll or a nice meal at one of the local pubs and restaurants. It's also a place for people interested in steam engines as the Llangollen Railway is the home to many steam engine experiences. You can even have a day out with Thomas the Tank Engine, take the train with Santa or participate in a murder mystery whilst slowly going through the valleys in one of my favorite means of transport. Llangollen is also the home to Belles Fleurs Florists, one of my favorite local florists and wedding specialists.

A bit further down the road, you can visit Valle Crucis Abbey, one of my favorite places in the area. Celynnen Photography's "birthplace" of some sort as our first official product was a Christmas card with the picture of a frosted holly leaf, or celynnen in Welsh. The rest, as they say, is history. Talking about history, Valle Crucis is full of it. Founded in the 13th century, this cisterian abbey has links to the famous King Arthur and is set at the bottom of a valley offering beautiful views, walks and even a campsite.

After a day out in the countryside, come back to Wrexham to Eagle Meadows, Wrexham's newest and largest shopping, entertainment and restaurant complex. The city's luxuries right in the middle of North Wale's countryside!

Hope this helps!

If you have any other questions about hotels in North Wales, family days out in North Wales, or obviously, Wedding photography in North Wales, just send us an email at ioan@celynnenphotography.co.uk and we will make sure you have a day to remember!

65th Anniversay photography at Wynnstay Hall, Ruabon, Wrexham

Yeah!

I just got a booking for a 65th Anniversary photography job at Wynnstay Hall in Ruabon near Wrexham. It has to be the closest job I've ever done, besides my front door neighbourgh's children portrait session and the newborn photography we did next door when Zachary was 10 days old. Ok, still very close! Doing photography in Wrexham is something that I love. As you'll find the moment you give us a call, I'm not from the area, but I truly fell in love with North Wales and absolutely love every opportunity I have working for the local venues.

Yesterday we got a email from our friends at Belles Fleurs Florists, florists just down the road from us, to invite us to the Bryn Howel wedding fair in Llangollen!
It's really exciting for us as the hotel is probably one of the closest venues to us and we really like getting involved in local events. So come and see us, Belles Fleurs and other local vendors at the Bryn Howel on the 26th of October!
PS: Come and see us and you might get some special deals.

Talking about portraits, here is another informal portrait from a recent session in Malpas, Cheshire.

How cute is she with her John Deere tractor (and is that a plough?)

And finally, we recently got great news!

Burlesque event at Alexanders!

Sunday 28th of October, The wonderful Dani California, singer and Burlesque performer from Chester, put up an event at Alexander's Jazz Club in Chester in order to raise money for Mysmallhelp.org, a charity whose aim is to help the young people of Nepal. Comedy, Burlesque and Rock from the likes of Tori Bragg, the Sublimes, Mairi Gold, Jubilee Swoon and Suzie Sequin were the garantee for a good night and they delivered, not only by their performance, but also for the young people who will benefit from money raised on the evening. If you would like to support them even more, visit their website!

Portrait photography session in the Wirral: Catching up!

RIGHT! Sorry for the delay, but We've been really busy!
A few weeks ago, I did a shoot in Port Sunlight, a most wonderful place, as well as in the Wirral Country Park with Harry, Calum and Joy, a wondeful family that wanted to make the most of a day out.

When I come back, I will be doing some long awaited wedding photography in Mold at Soughton Hall and later in the month, another wedding at Nunsmere Hall.

Winter might be approaching, but the celebrations keep on coming!

Our new website is LIVE!!

I am soooo excited! (Noticed the many "o"'s for emphasis!?)

For the first time in two years, we've had a redesign of our website and went for the "controversial" Flash route. So update your software if you need to and check out our new flashy website!

Since I'm here, I'd like to thank the people that have put their trust in us for the past few years and allowed us to be part of those special moments which they held so dear and wished for us to captur. Thank you to the passionate business people that have chosen us to create images for their businesses and thank you to the bands and models and all the great people I've met within this industry!

:)

Sunday 28 September 2008

what a weekend!

Just came back from a great Burlesque event held at Alexander's Jazz Club in Chester by my good friend Dani California in support of Mysmallhelp, a charity whose goal "is to try and bring about changes in the lives of underprivileged children - to give them what is rightfully theirs and what they deserve. We hope that our small dream will come true, and that every child in our country will grow up to be a proud citizen of Nepal, a true Nepali."

The bands were brilliant! I can easily see Tori Bragg and "The Sublimes" featuring at next year's Whatfest!

Besides that, I met today a really nice couple from Leeds that have chosen me to be their wedding photographer!

I'm really pleased and excited because they have some really cool ideas which will definitely add to the day...and their wedding album! They also chose a really nice venue called Meifod Country House in Caernafon. I've never worked there before, but I sure am looking forward to it!
More to come on them soon!
;)

Yesterday, I was also a Millmoor Farm, one of my first and most loyal clients! The day was nice and sunny at the B&B so we made the most of it and took pictures of their older children on their new pony and quad bikes as well as taking a few portraits of their youngest daughter.
Of course, we took a few pictures of their buildings as they recently updated the garden of their self-catering accomodations.

I truly recommend a stay!

Flora the Explorer..

The other day I took some pictures at the Royal Horticural Society's Britain in Bloom National Finals for the lovely folk at Visit Chester and Cheshire. Met a few nice people. The Lord Mayor of Chester was really nice and friendly and his wife had an absolutely gorgeous dress. Chris Collins, a gardener often seen on tv and all over the world was a highlight of the evening with his great personality, smile and enthusiasm. Of course, the winners were at the centre of this event with some really friendly ladies from Scotland coming to mind. But there was another really intereresting and popular guest that night and it was Flora, Cheshire's Year of Gardens Superlambanana!
Being so pretty, you can easily understand why a lot of the evening's guests wanted a picture with her..

Tuesday 23 September 2008

Sorry!

I've been really busy this week with all sorts, hence vhy I didn't post recently.

Had a great shoot with Joy, Callum and Harry in Port Sunlight and in the beautiful beach of the wirral country park. Then, I had a few problems with the delivery of my new 8-core Mac Pro. Tomorrow, I'm doing the Britain in Bloom awards final and this weekend, we have one of our most loyal clients, Millmoor Farm in Cheshire for a family and comercial shoot. Sunday, I'm covering a burlesque charity event at Alexander's Jazz Club in Chester. More info and pictures to come soon!!

Getting married in Quebec?

If you need a specialist in weddings in Montreal and Quebec City, Quebec, look no further than Celynnen Photography! Being native French-speakers and having good knowledge of Paris, Normandy and Brittany, we can also help you organise a destination wedding in France.

Saturday 30 August 2008

What a fantastic day!

Today, for the first time in 5 YEARS, I went on a bike ride. It helped that it was the first sunny Saturday in a while and I went on a website called Bikely where you can find routes near you or share your favorites and add really specific tags. Let's put it this way, I didn't ask for any steep hills..

It was a lovely route that took me from Rossett to Pulford, Dodleston, Lower Kinnerton, Higher Kinnerton, Hope and Llay. I was meant to go through Burton Green but I missed a turn. Still cycling through these beautiful vilages was really lovely and I crossed quite a few smiley faces, some of them gave me a few directions which was appreciated..

Next time I'll try and find myself a nice gps for my bike if there is such a thing.

I don't have a mountain bike or a road/race bike. I have a hybrid! Now if you're wondering why I'm going on about this is because I find a lot of people are either not aware of them or steered away as they seem to be the lacking a bit of appreciation.

Personally, I LOVE my hybrid! Sturdier than a road bike with a more comfortable driving position but lighter than a mountain bike with tires fit for road and trail a perfect all-rounder!

OK, that's me finished ranting now..but next time you buy a bike think about this: do you want to race or do you want to simply ride your bike? Also, do you really need massive knobley tires with large suspension forks? Come on, give a hybrid a chance!

Love is in the air...

Catchy tune, I know!!
And it also seemed to apply to these guys:

Barely a week after the superb wedding of Taniya and Paul in Portmeirion, Neil and Amy were up from Cardiff for their engagement session at Talacre Beach. The beach, you ask?! Yes! Firstly, there is a lovely lighthouse which ads to the pictures, I think, and, having had the chance to speak to Amy a few times over the phone, I knew absolutely nothing was going to wipe that smile from her face! Good thing too since we had a bit of rain but the beautiful and spectacular light of the "Golden Hour" worked it's magic on this beautifull beach of Flintshire, North Wales and we ended up with a fantastic set of pictures and had a great time all around!

Next time we see each other, it's going to be for their wedding in Soughton Hall. And remember Amy. It's in 8 weeks!
;)

Thursday 14 August 2008

Only a few days left!

Ever notice the couple on top of my contact's page?
That's Paul and Tanya! I took that picture at an event I attended earlier in the year!
The other day we did an engagement shoot with them around the beautiful city of Chester, in Cheshire, UK. (As opposed to the one in PA..) Well, if I can say so myself, we had a great time! I made sure we came in early enough to avoid the crowds and have the city centre to ourselves. Tanya and Paul came in looking very trendy I tought and we essentially spent the next few sunny hours taking pictures around places that were significant to them.

Engagement shoots are great for a few reasons. First, it allows us to get comfortable with each other and know what the couple likes and doesn't like. Also, we use it as a bit of a guiding session so that when we do the wedding day photography, they place themselves like pros!
One thing that we absolutely need to mention: the wedding venue!!
They are getting married in Portmeirion! How cool is that? So not only am I so lucky to be part of their "big day", but I also get to do it in one of my favorite places in the UK as well!

Thanks a lot guys and I can't wait till Sunday!

What a weekend!!

Whatfest was absolutely fabulous! Simon Bennet from Riverside Organics put up the most amazing show I've seen in a long time and one of the most exciting things that the entire family can enjoy in Cheshire I've ever been to! All ages were truly represented, not only in the crowd, but we were even treated to some jokes by a few toddlers in the crowd! (No, they weren't bad at all..)

I'll be uploading pictures soon on an online gallery for you. But keep an eye on the blog! If you see youself in a picture on our blog from Whatfest, email us and you will get a free 7x5! (bands not included)

Come back soon!

Ioan
PS: I'm going to do my absolute best to convince Simon to have Whatfest 09. If you enjoyed yourself, why not send him an email?

Saturday 12 July 2008

Rock and Roll!!

Remember my friends from Riverside Organics? Well, Simon isn't only an organic farmer... he is also a rock concert promoter! Think Micheal Eavis of Glastonbury fame.... on the first year he started!
;)

No joke, Simon is behind one of the most exciting projects new projects in Cheshire: Whatfest 08!

As the school year comes to an end and summer trully (hopefully) starts, Whatfest 08 will get the plains of leafy Cheshire rocking to the tunes of bands such as Eskimo Smile, Elephant Juice and a great Coldplay tribute band: Square One .

These are only 3 out of the 16 band lineup of all kinds of what will hopefully become a regular event in the Cheshire calendar.

So if you're a fan of music, camping or both at the same time! (sounds like paradise to me..) come over to Whatfest 08!

Pssssst!! Here's a secret! Mention this blog and you'll get 20% discount on official pictures of the weekend!

Thursday 10 July 2008

Families and Flowers..

The other day I went to one of my good client's house to show them the pictures I had recently taken of their children. I must say it was one of the most pleasant viewings I've had! Taking pictures of adults and showing them to the clients is one thing. But taking pictures of teens and showing them to the teens themselves is often a tricky thing as they don't always like seeing themselves in pictures. But, and I don't know if Marianne's flapjacks (from Riverside Organics) had anything to do with it, but they loved their pictures!

The thing that I essentially try to do with this age group is simply try and "capture their spirit". Take pictures of who they are and aspire to be rather than direct them into strict poses. I want them to have fun. And have fun we did!
;)

Besides that, I will be the official photographer for the Britain in Bloom Awards 2008! The event is being held at the Chester Racecourse as part of the Cheshire Year of Gardens Celebrations! I am a really keen gardener myself having a few roses, a wildflower meadow, herbs and all sorts of stuff.. I even have a hedgehog house and ladybird house! But I somehow had my doubts that I would be at the awards as a winner, so being a photographer was my only hope..
;)

Finally, we're on Facebook! You can find us on there by clicking on this link

I'm not sure quite how I'll use my presence there, but one thing that is sure is that it will involve deals! So check us out!
:)

Pics of a special day and memories of a special weekend!

As some of you have noticed, I have not updated my pictures on my website for a while. Basically, we are thinking about a new look, new galleries etc. So keep looking and soon (hopefully) you might get a surprise!
;)

Until then, here are a few pictures from a very special day that I was able to capture recently.
:)

--

Besides that, I've just had the most wonderful weekend in a long time!!

First of all, my beloved wife Nickie came back from France where she was working for a week, which really raised my spirits. Her coming back, not going..
;)

Then, we went to a good friend of mine's for my BIRTHDAY PARTY!!
:)

Nothing crazy or exentric, just a lovely day in the countryside, with chickens and goats and carps, with lovely food and lovely wine. Then the next day, we went to The Groves, in Chester to surprise one of my ex-colleagues for her birthday!

A beautiful evening to the background of Salsa music which ended with the Chester Ghost Tour provided by Tom Jones! (No, not THAT one..)
;)

So yeah, a very social and exciting weekend for me!

Robert Moffat Memorial

On the 22nd of February, I'll be shooting the Robert Moffat Memorial race in High Legh. I'm really excited (I know, I get excited about a lot of things..) because even though I am not a runner myself, the feeling of achievement and happiness some of the runners displayed last year was really infectuous and I felt really lucky to be there to share that moment with them. That's the really great thing about photography. Of course, There's also another souvenir associated to last year's race. The day after the race after we uploaded the pictures, we lost not one, not two... three hard drives!!! Surely that must be some sort of record??

And so things were rough, chaotic and disorganised for a bit. But now we are back sturdy on our feet with 5 drives on two Macs which should (touch wood), keep us going for at least one or two wedding seasons!!

Anyways..
If you are interested in running this great 10k, it's in High Legh, next to Knutsford in Cheshire. The route goes through this beautifull village of rural cheshire and is truly a race which can please runners of all levels!

For more information, go on the official race website which is:
http://www.highlegh.org/race.htm

Friday 27 June 2008

what a great way to end the week!!

I'm feeling really and happy!

First of all, I am really happy with some of the pictures we got from a family shoot we worked on last week (see attached picture)

Then early in the week I had a really good boudoir photography shoot for one of my clients. Boudoir photography, if you are not familiar with it is, as stated in wikipedia, "is revealing style of photograph where implied nudity is common, as is the subject showing part of their undergarments while still dressed."

But our "definition" is simply sensual pictures after a session of pampering by a make-up artist, a bit of champagne and you feeling fabulous and glamourous with pictures for yourself or to give as a gift for a special person in your life. :)

Anyways, we had so much fun, we ended up working together for 6 hours!!!

Also, as you might remember, I am trying to have a baseball team I coach travel to Northern Ireland. These are not ordinary kids and they really need our support.

So the other day, whilst I'm doing a bit of a email fundraising operation, I see this ad about Warburtons, the family bakers. It shows people talking or encountering Jonathan Warburton here and there and makes a point about how friendly he is and all that. I had seen the ad a few times that week and had noticed that Warburton was the brand of bread we had in (I don't buy the shopping you see, so I need stuff to notice)

Anyways, the ad finishes with his email address, I decide to use it and email Brett Warburton as well, which I learn is his cousin. They both replied within a week. Now you might ask, why am I so excited? How much money are these bakers giving me? To be honest, at this point and time, I have no clue, all they said was that they will chase it up. But the friendliness of their email and the fact that they took the time to reply to my email is enough for me to get excited!

These kids really are important to me and so I've sent emails to 300 local companies, including bakers, and most of them never even bothered replying.

So simply because they made me smile by being just as friendly as their "tv personas" and for taking interest in a very special group of kids, I publicly want to thank Jonathan and Brett Warburton and wish everybody a great weekend!!

Friday 20 June 2008

I'm FREE!!!

"I'm free" seems to say this beautiful dog we shot during a family shoot at their home the other day! The whole shoot was done outdoors with the dog and family members having fun playing cricket, football, playing on swings and generally having a good time, and believe me, I did too!
:)

About next year's weddings, etc..

Calls have just started to come for weddings due for 2009 so I thought I might update you all on a change in our product range.

1. Albums
Next summer, we will stop offering matted or traditional albums. If your vedding is before May 2009, we will still have our 3 traditional album price ranges on offer, but after, we will concentrate our our storybook albums.

2. Prices
I am currently working on putting up packages in-lieu of our current A-la-carte approach. This decision should not affect prices as such, but make it easier for you (and me..) to chose what is the best package in terms of coverage and products.

So yeah, that's it. Pretty oring stuff compared to the other post, but hopefully I'll have something more exciting to say soon!
;)

what can I put as a title??

what a great weekend! (ok, it's not over yet, I know..) but Friday, I went to Edinburgh to work with and learn from Nikki McLeod . what a great time we had! Not only was it nice to see another photographer at work, but the bride and groom (Jim and Audrey) were absolutely delightfull, the venue, Fernie Castle was fantastic, everything was simply perfect and the evening ended up with a bang with a nice fireworks display.

So thank you for Nikki for inviting me and to the groom and bride for sharing their celebration with me!

Tuesday 3 June 2008

Let's make a deal!

A few years ago, I had to sell my mortorcycle to pay for more serious things such as university, buying more and more kit for wedding photography and all sorts of other needed things at the time.

But now, with the fuel prices coming up, I think It's time to get back on 2 wheels.

So here's the deal:

I would like one nice, sound bike for commuting 80 miles a day.

In exchange I offer wedding photography in including

1 engagement shoot

Up to 1 Full day coverage

2 parent albums or 2 wedding boxes

1 A4 size, up to 50 pages and 65 images storybook type wedding album

1 cd of web quality prints

1 online gallery for your friends and family.

But don't worry, I won't be turning up at my next jobs in leathers.
;)

Thursday 22 May 2008

I am SO Excited!!

Besides photography, I also help children of primary and high school age make the most of their education and solve a few issues along the way. One of the ways I do it is through coaching baseball. I started a team to help pupils move from Primary School to High School. Unfortunately baseball in Britain can be quite expensive. Last year, luckily, we struck gold in 2 ways. First, Majestic Athletic helped by offering us our team shirts.

Then the Portstewart Eagles, a baseball team in Northern Ireland sent us some helmets, bats and all sorts of crucial equipment for our team.

To thank the Eagles and to help raise the aspirations and cultural awareness of our young players , I'm organising a trip for them to visit the Eagles in Northern Ireland. In order to achieve this, we absolutely need sponsors and we have been asking quite a bit lately for people to either sponsor the team or individual players, depending on their preference. The first company to step-up to the plate was the Mitchell Group. I cannot say how gratefull I am to them for their contribution. Their help does not only take us one step closer to getting to Northern Ireland, it also gives a strong sense of pride to the players that feel that someone out there believes in them.

On behalf of the Rudheath Majestics, thank you very, very much!

IF YOU NEED MORE INFORMATION ON HOW YOU CAN HELP THE MAJESTICS OR MORE INFORMATION ON THEM, EMAIL OR CALL ME. FOR EACH PLAYER FUNDED, YOU GET 50% DISCOUNT ON YOUR SHOOT!

Training

In photography, to me, keeping ahead means constantly learning and looking out for new techniques, ideas, etc. This is not simply an exercise for my own pleasure, but most importantly for my clients so that I can offer great pictures of their special day at a fair price. In this quest for learning, I am going to Fyfe in 3 weeks where I will be working on a wedding with Nikki Mcleod. This inspirational photographer has been published in Scottish wedding directory and I can't wait to see her at work and hopefully take what I've learned on the day to give my own brides and even better experience on their big day!

Maternity shoot.

Saturday, I had the pleasure of meeting Vicky who is expecting a baby in a month or so.

We had an absolutely wonderful time around Sefton Park doing was we could call a Lifestyle shoot.

Though maternity shoots often put an emphasis on the bump (rightfully so!) and black and whites, we thought it would be interesting to take pictures out and about and not only think about the little person that will join her family in a few weeks, but try and show off Vicky's great personality and smile.

How do you think we did?

Just wanting to talk about some really decent people..

In today's world, things like customer service and friendliness are not always associated with our general shopping experience. So today, instead of talking about what or who we shot, let me tell you about a little store in Manchester with a difference: Pro Film and Digital These guys are simply amazing!

Need something NOW? They will take your order over the phone and leave it to a security guard for you to collect at your convenience (I turned up at 8:30pm on a Friday night..)

Can't make it to the store? They will ship it to you the next day!

And one thing I can't stand in the photography business is snobbery and people belittling people that are starting or don't know absolutely everything. That kind of attitude, I assure you, you will never encounter here.

So o.k. Nothing in today's post about why you should choose us over someone else, maybe... but when buying equipment, there are many reasons to chose Pro Film and Digital over the rest!

About brides and babies..

The other day, I was lucky enough to meet with Amy and Neil who are going to get married at the Soughton Hall, in Northop. A delightful couple with who we are going to work with on an engagement shoot as well as the "big day"! Can't wait myself!

If you wonder where we were last time, it was at the Rookery Hall. A great place that I like to stay in myself in Nantwhich. They have lovely gorunds and the afternoon tea is really nice too!

The car was provided by Richard from Signature wedding cars. If there is one word I can use to describe Richard, it's friendly. Definitely one of the most pleasant people I've had the chance to meet since we've started to work with brides. His professionalism is also something to be commented on as he always makes sure that the car, like we do for our brides, look the best possible!

Another shoot we did recently was little Zachary!

This lively looking chap is only 10 DAYS OLD! Newborns can do quite well during photoshoots, which we can do from the comfort of your own home, in a time most convenient to you!

So wether it's for brides or babies, you can trust Celynnen Photography!

More awards and about weddings.

Hello again!

Just got the news that I got two more awards, one silver and one bronze in the wildlife and sport categories respectively.

So here goes with the acceptance speech!
;)

But I do want to thank the people that have actually allowed me to take those pictures in the first place. Photography has been a passion of mine for years and I would not have been able to do it without my clients and models!

So thank you!
:)

Now for another subject:
Weddings!

Someone just called and asked if the discount I announced this month after the award could be applied to weddings.

The answer: OF COURSE!

So if you know anyone who needs wedding photography, tell them to call me this month for an incredible 25% discount on their booking!

Just make sure they mention myspace!

This is why we do what we do..

One of the most satisfying things, personally, about my work is to meet new people and see the smiles on their faces when I deliver their pictures.

One of these occasions was last Saturday when I did a family shoot with some really nice people. As usual, I preferred to work in the comfort of their own home rather than in a studio, simply because usually, people are simply more comfortable in their homes rather than in a large studio. It then makes it much easier to capture people how they are in their daily lives rather than stuck in a pose.

we had a blast with the family's daughter, her best friend and their family pet.

I think we captured the atmosphere quite well if I can say so myself!

The different looks we can achieve..

As you can see last Saturday we did some pretty straight-forward portraits of Lara. But, depending on what you want, we can also give our pictures a glamorous and dreamy look.

or do black and white conversions that will show style and elegance!

whatever look you are after for you or your family, let us know and we will deliver!

Shoot at the bakery studio

This weekend I did a shoot with Lara Christina at the Bakery Studios in Cefn Mawr. As expected, we got good quality images from the shoot, aided by Myk Briggs, the genius behind the studio, making sure everyone had the equipment they needed, making teas and coffees and helping pull a few smiles during the shoot.

The studio, 10 minutes from downtown Wrexham is where I work when the type of shoot requires it. It offers many possibilities and comforts. A home away from home!

Charity Race

Hello everyone!

Well, it's official!

I am going to be the official photographer for the Charity Race being held at High Legh, Cheshire on the 24th of February!

Let's hope for some good weather for the brave runners of the day!

Since I am not of the running type, Nicola and I have decided to give away 10% of our total sales of the day to their chosen charity.

Come by and say hi after the race!

Go and visit our new website!

Finally, we have a new and improved website!
Though it might not look like much of a change, people visiting our website will now be able to look more clearly at the type of pictures thy are interested in. Our clients and models will also be able to order prints directly from their private album and we've also included a news section to keep people up to date!

Another improvement to our web presence is the placement of a featured advert on Kidsguide, a great way to make parents aware of our services!

Go and visit both sites and let us know what you think!

what a weekend!!

Last weekend, Nickie and I went to the swpp & bppa convention in London.

Not only did we have a great time meeting fellow photographers, but we got to meet great people like Michael Ayers, Doug Box, Bjorn Thomassen and Marilyn Sholin who were all kind enough to share their knowledge with us.

It was also the first time that we got to meet our good friends at Phosys and other suppliers that will allow us to give more quality products to our clients.

I'm also in the final negotiations that would land me a contract to be event photographer for a charity race as well as possibly doing some work on behalf of the tourism industry in another European country... but until the deal is sealed, my lips will be!
;)

And of course, this Saturday, I'm lucky enough to shoot Lara Christina. A wonderful model that can be seen amongst other places on Net-Model

It's been a month already since Christmas has passed and it's time for us to prepare ourselves for the next rush, taking portraits of beautiful babies, weddings and the prom season!

If you or a friend need any kind of photography, whether it's for a commerce such as hotel, B&B or Restaurant or again some family portraits, baby portraits, weddings or boudoir photography, just let us know and make sure to let us know you found us on Myspace and you'll get a 10% discount!
